More From Nashville!

Hey Y’all!
Thought I would fill you in on the rest of my trip to Nashville!
On Day 8 the song writing continued! I finished up the song I started last week with Jeff Jones called ‘Till All Our Troubles Are Gone’!  Michaela Clarke  and I went back to Broadway for dinner and to enjoy some more #LiveMusic!
On Day 9 I met with Jon and Sally Tiven for more writing! Jon had already written the music so Sally and I worked out the lyrics to create a funky tune called #SeriousThisTime.
On Day 10 Carli and Julie Kennedy arrived in town! We went out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and then headed to the #BlueBirdCafe to listen to a songwriters round. It was an amazing night!! We got to hear #JessiAlexander #JonRandall and #CharlieWorsham! If you aren’t familiar with these singer songwriters go change that now and look them up :) . Also, Sheryl Crow made a surprise appearance and Michaela and I had the privilege of meeting her.
Day 10-Wrote another great song with #MaksGabriel and #KrisBergnes called #NeverCryLikeThatAgain. I really love it and can’t wait for you guys to hear it! Then it was off to #DaisyDukes with Carli KennedyJulie Kennedy and Michaela Clarke Music to play a show together!! It was awesome to be able to share the stage with such wonderful Canadian Country Girls! To end the night we went to #TheListeningRoom to hear another great round of songwriters. So inspiring!
On Day 11 I hungout in #CareyOtt‘s basement studio and made a demo of a new song we wrote called #TrucksTooLoud.
Then I went to the #BlackBirdStudio with Jeff Jones to record a demo of our song #TillAllOurTroublesAreGone! I still can’t get it out of my head.
Day 12- I had a day off from writing and went shopping at the Green Hills Mall with Michaela Clarke Music
On Day 13 my parents arrived for a visit! Michaela and I got our hair done in the morning and then met up with my parents to go to a hockey game! Then we all went out for dinner. It was packed on #Broadway because everyone was out celebrating #MardiGras!
Day 14-Michaela and I said goodbye to the #SOCAN house and it was off to the #HermitageHotel for the last few days. In the evening we went out to see the musical #Ghost  and then went back to our hotel for some room service and to watch the #Oscars!
Day 15 was a “Snow Day” in Nashville so it was a lazy morning and it was time to say goodbye to Michaela Clarke  who was flying back home to Alberta. (I miss you already!)
In the afternoon I headed to the famous #Ryman! I got to go up on stage and sing a verse of #CountryWild!!! Spent the rest of the day checking out #LiveMusic at all the bars on Broadway! At #LegendsCorner a lovely singer#KinseyRose was performing and she let me take her break to sing a tune myself!! Thanks so much Kinsey :)
Day 16 I spent the morning at the #CountryMusicHallOfFame! It was incredibly cool and inspiring! Then went to check out the #OprylandHotel! It was AMAZING! It feels like an entire other world while you are in there. Since this was my last night in Nashville I spent some more time soaking up the Live Music on Broadway!
Day 17 it was time to go home so I packed up and headed to the airport with my parents to fly back to #Toronto!
I’m happy to be home but I had such an incredible time in #Nashville I already can’t wait to go back!!! <3

Happy 2014!

Happy New Year Y’all! I hope you enjoyed the holidays as much as I did.
I just wanted to reflect on 2013, as it was a great year filled with many accomplishments. I am proud to have recorded and released my first EP in 2013. I am truly grateful to have recorded “Only Everything” with award-winning musician, composer and producer Lance Anderson at Cherry Beach Sound, along with some of Toronto’s finest musicians such as top country guitarist Wendell Ferguson. I released my third single, Let’s Fall in Love, to Canadian Country Radio this past year and I toured Ontario visiting and playing at many of the stations who supported my song. I was fortunate enough to play lots of great shows and festivals including Tin Pan North, The Great Ride N Stride, Brookfield’s Annual Lighting Ceremony and the Diamonds in the Rough Showcase during CCMA Week!
I am very grateful to everyone who helped me to accomplish so much with my music this year, I couldn’t have done it without you! Also, thanks to all the new friends and fans I made this year.
Now that 2014 has begun, I am busy planning new shows and writing new music that I can’t wait to share with you! Also, I have a big trip to Nashville in the works for the middle of February. I can’t wait to meet and work with many talented writers to write new tunes for my next CD!
I will be sure to update y’all along the way and let you know about my upcoming shows. :)

Stay safe & warm <3.

Starlight Children’s Foundation of Canada

Hey Y’all,

Hope you’re doing well!

I just wanted to tell you a little bit about the Starlight Children’s Foundation of Canada; a foundation that is very close to my heart. This past week I got to learn a lot more about the work that they do when I performed at Brookfield’s Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony benefiting Starlight. It was wonderful to come together with the Toronto community to celebrate the season and support a wonderful cause.

The Starlight Children’s Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to bringing laughter, joy and hope back into the lives of children with serious illnesses. For over 20 years, their in-hospital entertainment therapy and out-of-hospital fun family adventure programs have brought smiles to children when they need it most. To learn more or to donate to Starlight please go to

On December 8th I will be singing at the Hilton Toronto for the afternoon and collecting donations for Starlight. All guests in attendance are asked to bring a NEW unwrapped toy. All toys collected will be going to Starlight to put a smile on a child’s face this holiday season. For more details on this event and others I am involved in keep your eye on my Facebook page:

Thanks so much for reading to learn more about Starlight!

I hope we can all do our part to put a smile on someone’s face this holiday season :)

Radio Tour

Over the last week I drove to Manitoulin, Sudbury, Tillsonburg and Oshawa on a radio tour! It was a blast getting to bring my keyboard into the stations and play live on air as well as getting to know the wonderful people working hard at Canadian Country Radio! A BIG thank you to all the radio stations I was able to visit (100.7 The Island, KICX 91.7, Country 107.3 and KX96). It was a pleasure getting to sit down and chat with each and every one of you. Thank you for making time for me to come by and for supporting my new single “Let’s Fall in Love”. I will be back on the road soon to visit some more radio stations so be sure to keep an eye out :) .

FALLing in Love

How is everyone enjoying fall? I have been loving it so far. I had the pleasure of performing at Moser’s second annual music fest last weekend! It was so much fun to see everyone enjoy my music. Thank you to everyone who came out! Also, I am proud to be a part of the Canadian Cancer Society’s Great Ride ‘N’ Stride on October 20th. Come out to Country Heritage Park in Milton and bike, walk or run 3 or 5k to support the fight against cancer. Then join me in the barn afterwards for some hot soup and country music!
A big thank you to all those Canadian Country Radio stations that are spinning my single Let’s Fall in Love! Another thank you to all of you who have requested my song and downloaded a copy from iTunes! I really appreciate all the support. I am thrilled to say I will be off on a radio tour across Ontario very soon. I will keep y’all updated along the way and I can’t wait to make new friends and fans.

To all my fellow Canadians enjoy your Thanksgiving this weekend!
